C'est moi- I generally use myself before someone else when trying to get proper timing (natural, in this case). My house faces southeast; this was taken at the northwest corner of the yard.
The 'experimental' bit is that I'm trying to figure out the perfect sunset time and angles to capture the light-through-the-eyes effect. This was the closest I've gotten- the finished shots of a subject, not me taking a picture of myself, will be posted after this weekend. |

It came out really nicely. I need to do some cleanup on the photo set, and then they'll be up. But I'm glad you like this one, it's nice encoragement. ^^
Trees are some of the best conduits for feeling... They can be the totally serene sort, or "angry" trees, or trufala trees a la The Lorax.
